STRIVE 2026 Highlights — Experiential Learning at the Intersection of Business and Technology

Feb 23, 2026

Welcoming nearly 300 students for a weekend of transformative experiences, STRIVE 2026 introduces STRIVE Sprints as a new standard for experiential learning.

VANCOUVER, CANADA — The Prosper Foundation successfully hosted STRIVE 2026, its premier technology-focused case competition, welcoming hundreds of ambitious high school students for an immersive, innovation-driven experience.

This year marked a defining evolution in the conference’s programming with the introduction of STRIVE Sprints, a series of fast-paced, workshop-driven learning experiences designed to bridge the gap between theory and execution.

Continuing with the innovative two-day conference format, attendees enjoyed more time to prepare, collaborate, and build meaningful connections.

New: STRIVE Sprints

At the core of STRIVE 2026, STRIVE Sprints reimagined the traditional case competition format by integrating structured learning with immediate, hands-on application. Each Sprint guided participants through key concepts before challenging them to apply their knowledge in real time through focused deliverables and collaborative problem solving.

By combining instruction, iteration, and execution into a single continuous experience, STRIVE Sprints reflected the pace and demands of modern technology and consulting environments. The result was a more dynamic and engaging format that transformed passive learning into active, high-impact problem solving.

In STRIVE Sprints, attendees begin with interactive workshops and then transition into deliverable-based challenges, applying newly learned concepts to develop actionable solutions in real time.

A Fusion Competition Experience

Hosted at the UBC Sauder School of Business, STRIVE 2026 challenged teams to solve complex business problems through the lens of emerging technologies. Participants developed solutions grounded in areas such as artificial intelligence, digital platforms, and data-driven strategy, with a strong emphasis on feasibility, scalability, and user impact.

Across two rounds of competition, teams were evaluated on strategic insight, technical depth, creativity, and communication, culminating in a final round judged by professionals across consulting, technology, and finance.
