With more than 500 attendees, speakers, judges, and distinguished guests at Canada's first-ever overnight high school case competition, Prosper once again redefines what is possible.
VANCOUVER, CANADA — On April 26-27, 2025, the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre was abuzz with energy as over 500 high school students, educators, and industry professionals from across Canada gathered for Prosper 2025, the nation's largest high school student-led business case competition and the only overnight hotel conference of its caliber.
Organized by Prosper Foundation, Prosper 2025 marked a significant milestone by introducing its first-ever overnight conference format, providing attendees with an immersive two-day experience that combined real-world business challenges, expert-led workshops, and unparalleled networking opportunities.

Beyond the main competition, Prosper 2025 offered a diverse lineup of workshops covering topics such as entrepreneurship, marketing strategy, and financial literacy. Attendees also participated in Business Streams — an activity pioneered by Prosper Foundation with focused breakout sessions designed to deepen expertise in specific subject areas. These streams challenged participants to actively engage in the Ivey Case Method of Learning and produce written deliverables, strengthening both their analytical thinking and communication skills.

After an intensive day of presentations on Sunday, the winning team of Prosper 2025 took home our signature grand prize of $2,000. In addition, top 16 teams of Prosper 2025 received automatic qualification status for the upcoming Prosper Ivey Invitational Competition, scheduled to take place from June 28-29, 2025 at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler.

This year also marked the debut of a new slate of awards aimed at celebrating excellence across multiple dimensions of the conference. Honors included the Best Deliverable Award for outstanding written analysis, the Best Speaker Award for exceptional presentation skills, and the Outstanding Participation Award, given to individuals who demonstrated consistent leadership, collaboration, and engagement during Business Stream sessions.
As the lights dimmed on an unforgettable weekend, Prosper 2025 stood as a bold affirmation of what’s possible when vision meets execution. With record-breaking attendance, transformative programming, and the revolutionary overnight format, Prosper didn’t just host a conference — it built a movement. A movement grounded in empowerment, shaped by collaboration, and fueled by the belief that high school students are not just future leaders — they’re leaders now. As Prosper Foundation continues to expand its reach across Canada, one thing is clear: this is only the beginning.
